I have a network which allows me to mobilize a creative team quickly while also retaining the ability to work individually. From partnering with creative agencies such as Filmateria Digital and Mentor Creative Group in Seattle, to working with multiple marketing teams within Microsoft and Amazon, I have learned to collaborate in a variety of creative ecosystems.
Starting my photography journey in 2013 as a volunteer photojournalist in Kathmandu, I acquired a taste for human focused storytelling while interviewing Tibetan freedom fighters in one of Nepal’s largest refugee camps. I went on to pursue visual storytelling as a content creator and social media manager for a non-profit after this experience and continued my education in photography at the University of Washington and later the Creative Academy at Seattle Central College. I have since executed videography, video editing, motion graphics, photography, and photo editing projects for corporations, non-profits, and small businesses in the Seattle area. I have worked independently and as a project manager and producer. Through my experience, I bring a deep understanding of technical proficiency as well as a keen eye for creative content.

Our organization is responsible for an onboarding event. Our event brings 500 people from around the world in-person and 1000 people virtually 3 times a year. The event spans across 4 days at multiple locations. It is extremely important to capture all the moments from our “Welcome Reception” to our ‘Breakout sessions” and everything in between. We have relied on Gregory Elgee heavily during our events. We initially hired Gregor as a photographer. Through a passing conversation during our second day, we asked him if he was capable of capturing video as well. He not only pivoted for our request he superseded our expectations. Gregory Elgee began working with Filmateria Studios in 2019 as a freelance photographer. He photographed events in the Puget Sound region and traveled with our team to Las Vegas. I have seen his work and talent grow during this time. In 2022 he began creating digital content at our contracted photo studio on the Microsoft campus/Redmond (MS Photo). He has acted as our lead studio photographer and editor in this capacity. In the fall of 2022 he was instrumental in helping Filmateria launch our corporate video initiative.
