Conservation NW: The Wildlife Monitoring Project

Conservation NW is a non-profit organization that helps protect endangered species in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho. One of the ongoing programs that CNW facilitates is the Wildlife Monitoring Project. The project calls on volunteers to maintain motion activated trail cameras in remote areas in order to capture imagery of endangered species. This imagery is shared with the federal government as evidence that policy changes surrounding conservation need to take place in that area. G.E. created several promotional videos for the Wildlife Monitoring project using two motion activated trail cameras, a drone, and a Canon R5. Footage was captured in the Woodland Park Zoo as well as the Gifford Pinchot and Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests.

Kyndryl: The Heart of Progress

Kyndryl, the former IT infrastructure arm of IBM, aims to scale enterprise clients in the areas of cloud migration, data and AI, and cybersecurity. Despite having formed in 2021, the company is 90,000 employees strong, giving it the full power of a corporate data giant but with the edge and mentality of a startup. Partnered with other big tech entities like Microsoft, Kyndryl employees are often found promoting the company at booths stationed at large corporate events such as Microsoft Build or Microsoft Inspire. The booths often host a variety of interactive experiences for passerby's to engage with, including video content. Working as a design strategy consultant for Kyndryl, G.E. produced this sizzle to be used as corporate event video content to be played around North America. The editing and motion graphics design were done by me.

Microsoft: Accelerate

Always inspiring employees to show up as their authentic selves, Microsoft aims to hasten the career trajectories of it's distinguished top solutions architects through the company's MCAPS Academy. Accelerate teaches these new hires skills in teambuilding, mindfulness, networking, and confidence building. G.E. has been collaborating with Filmateria Studios to produce one to two minute sizzles, interview content, and explainer videos designed to mobilize employees towards the event since 2023. These were shot by G.E. in conjunction with a second camera operator, Nii Okaidja. G.E. was responsible for the editing and motion graphics design.

Amazon: From brick and mortar hardware sales to global distribution

G.E. partnered with Mentor Creative Group to produce a two minute long case study video about Amazon's marketing software, Manage Your Experiments (MYE). The aim of the video was to showcase the success of one of Amazon's largest resellers of hardware goods on the West Coast, Onkata. MYE helped Onkata transition from an offline storefront to an online one and has been responsible for the significant rate at which they have been able to scale their business. G.E. was responsible for production and vendor management, cinematography, and post production.

Piroshky Piroshky: A Pike Place Market staple...

G.E. was instructed by the Piroshky Piroshky team to make a minute long social media advert using pre-existing video and photo assets from their archive. I assembled their best footage into a Premiere timeline, then created a soviet-themed motion graphics sequence in Adobe After Efffects. The script was created using Chat-GPT and the VO using the AI software, Well Said.
